Inquiries regarding the prices of sweaters please compare first the prices of wool, mohair and kid mohair in stores for wool in your place of residence or in online shops in the web (google).
Here only example prices:
100% new wool: 55-90 Euro / 1 kg
Alpaca wool mixed: 80-90 Euro / 1 kg
65% Kid mohair: 110-120 euros / 1 kg
70% Super Kid mohair: 130-150 euros / 1 kg
82% mohair: 130-140 euros / 1 kg
100% cashmere: 400-500 euros / 1kg
80% angora / 20% polyamid : 180 Euro / 1kg
It takes 2 days for a simple sweater (needle 12 mm/ 17 american) to be completed or 4-5 days for sweaters with patterns, (needle 10 mm / 15 american) .
All my sweaters have informations on the weight of wool / mohairs / kid mohairs and to knitting needle.
I ask you to estimate what the wool would cost, how much time was needed for production and costs per 1 hour knitting.
It makes the impression that 10% of potential customers, wants or at least expected a sweater for the price "made in Asia or Eastern Europe" .
I hope for your understanding that I wouldn't like to explain any details of calculation and declaration to all requests.
I ask you to refrain from utopian prices .
The material costs were very low calculated but I refuse to earn for 1 hour knitting 2-3 euros.
I would like to thank all the other "old" customers for your loyalty and enthusiasm and all potential new customers, guests and visitors for your love words about my work, photos, models and website.
