Inquiries regarding the prices of sweaters please compare first the prices of wool, mohair and kid mohair in stores for wool in your place of residence or in online shops in the web (google).
Here example prices for wool:
- kid mohair: content 65% mohair 35% wool: 158 Euro / 1 kg
- mohair: content 78% mohair 13% wool 9% nylon : 100-140 Euros / 1 kg
100% wool (merino): 141 Euros / 1 kg
100% wool: 75-145 Euro / 1 kg
45% wool 30% acrylic 25% alpaca : 100-110 Euro / 1 kg
100% alpaca : 155 Euros / 1 kg
- super kid mohair: content 67% mohair 28% nylon 5% wool : 260-300 euros / 1 kg
kid mohair: content 80% mohair 20% nylon : 160-180 euros / 1 kg
100% cashmere: 600-700 euros / 1kg
80% angora 20% nylon : 200 -280 Euro / 1 kg
Extra cost for knitting:
It takes 2 days for a simple sweater (needle 12 mm/ 17 US) to be completed
or 4-5 days for sweaters with patterns (needle 10 mm / 15 US)
or 5-6 days for sweater knitted with needles 6-7 mm (10-10,5 US).
All my sweaters have informations on the weight of wool / mohairs / kid mohairs and to knitting needle.
I ask you to estimate what the wool would cost, how much time was needed for production and costs per 1 hour knitting.
I hope for your understanding that I wouldn't like to explain any details of calculation and declaration to all requests.
I ask you to refrain from utopian prices .
The material costs were very low calculated but I refuse to earn for 1 hour knitting 2-3 euros.
